That title is a lot to unpack, so here’s a quick primer for you: A sustained high fat diet is no good for anyone because it can lead to many undesirable effects. Dietary protein is especially important for older folks and people with wounds trying to heal (including surgical). That high fat diet can induce what is referred to as “fat-induced anabolic resistance to protein ingestion”.  In other words, even if you take protein supplements, the high fat diet prevents the protein from getting to where it needs to be. The good news is that exercise helps overcome this (link here)! More good news is the antioxidants found in RedOx+ helps the oxidative stress from workouts (links here and here) and maximize results/minimize damage! Even more good news is that we will be unveiling a new formulation that includes protein sometime soon!
