BENJAMIN SAVASKY

Dr. Benjamin Savasky received his BS from John Carroll University in Biology with a concentration in neuroscience. He was a graduate assistant and student at John Carroll University before working at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute in pulmonary arterial hypertension and asthma research. Benjamin has extensive experience in light physiology (i.e. the effect different wavelengths of light have on the central nervous system); interpreting cell surface markers and correlating the markers with disease; animal surgery; and experimental design and implementation necropsy. He has won Entrepreneurship competitions for his ideas pertaining to pet supplements. He is currently working at University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic and has a passion for diabetic limb salvage, wound care, and studying oxidative stress.
